Pomodoro timer
Pomodoro is still available in Toggl. It is not a separate feature or a separate page — it is one of the timer modes you choose when you start an active timer on the Timer page.
Timer modes
- Count up — the default. The timer starts at 0:00 and counts upward until you stop it.
- Countdown — set a duration before you start, and the timer counts down to zero.
- Pomodoro — work in focused intervals separated by short breaks. The timer runs through a work session, then prompts you to take a break before the next round.
Starting a Pomodoro session
- Open the Timer page from the Timer icon in the left navigation bar.
- Type a description into the timer bar, and add a task, project or tags if you want them.
- Select Pomodoro from the timer mode control, in the timer bar between the billable toggle and the duration field.
- Start the timer.
The timer runs your work interval, then prompts you for a break before starting the next round.
